On Friday 24th April Shandrum AC are promoting their very popular 4 mile road race, starting at 7.30pm. This is a popular circular route with the start line close to the church in Newtownshandrum, and the finish at the GAA hall. The route is relatively flat with a gentle incline towards the finish.
